Blue Moon in Pisces 30-31 August 2023

We have a rare SUPER-BLUE Moon TONIGHT at 7° Pisces to finish this energetically jam-packed month of August, and what a month it has been!

The rare event is the SECOND full Moon (Blue Moon) for the month and will be the closest, biggest, and brightest Supermoon of 2023. A full moon generally represents the end of the Moon's cycle and the beginning of a new one, the Moon's journey reaching completion. It can stir up deep emotions and feelings and bring them to the surface to acknowledge and release. Being a SUPER-BLUE Moon means energies are supercharged, heightened and super-enhanced, illuminating EVERYTHING around us! I personally felt the energies kick in on Monday!

Pisces is a Feminine, Mutable, Water sign that loves to FEEL its way through life and is the expression of unconditional love. It represents the ocean, vast and boundless and connected to everything. This energy is the thread that ties the Universe together. It is also the last zodiac sign representing the journey's end and holding space for new creations to emerge and manifest. It's fluid, adaptable, highly empathetic, super intuitive, profoundly spiritual and connected with the unseen world.

A full Moon in Pisces encourages us to expand our awareness to another level. It asks that we recognise what is overwhelming our senses and step back to give ourselves a loving, nurturing space, allowing us to analyse and release anything that no longer serves us or makes us forget our potential. Instead of feeling immersed in a sea of energy, we can become observers, connected but unaffected.

It increases self and collective awareness for all life on earth as a united whole; we are one soul dreaming of ourselves as many. This energy is connected to everyone and everything in the Universe, understanding that we are the stars, the ocean and the Moon. We are magnificent, powerful, god-like, eternal souls that are having a human experience.

It is a fantastic time to journal or meditate and release all the shit that no longer serves you, your life's purpose or your soul. Excellent crystals to work with would be Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Labradorite or Aquamarine.

Remember, we currently have seven (7) planets (Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) in Retrograde, asking us to go inwards. So please slow down, do some breathwork, take it easy and rest when necessary. On a personal note, this lunar illumination is keeping everybody in my household awake, so the struggle with exhaustion is very real!
