We are standing inside one of the most pivotal energetic gateways of 2026!

On 17 February 2026 at 22:13 (AEST), the New Moon Annular Solar Eclipse perfects at 28° Aquarius. While this eclipse will not be visible here in Australia, as you have likely already felt, visibility has never been the true measure of impact. Many of us are already feeling this eclipse energy.

February 2026 is not an ordinary month, astrologically speaking. It is a threshold we will reference for years to come, an opening chapter in the birth of a new era for humanity. Yes… It’s that big of a deal!

With Neptune and Saturn igniting their new cycles in Aries, and the Fire Horse year now underway, the cosmos is unmistakably shifting gears. From this point forward, and especially as we move toward April’s rare Aries amplification (details to come), everything will begin to accelerate. We are being ushered, swiftly and unmistakably, into the Aries initiation, and into the birth of the “I AM.”

This eclipse occurs at 28°56’ Aquarius, brushing the anorectic degree, the last degrees of any sign. Aquarius, in its highest expression, is the visionary. The liberator. The one who sees beyond the current system and dares to imagine something kinder, more unified, more awake.

Uranus Squares the Eclipse: Truth Will Not Stay Hidden

Adding extra voltage, this eclipse forms a tight square to Uranus in Taurus, the modern ruler of Aquarius and the great awakener of our age. When Uranus is activated this strongly, we may all experience, in some way, moments that feel like lightning striking the status quo. Uranus is designed to shake things up.

At a soul level, this square asks us to get radically honest:

• Where have we outgrown the old world but are still clinging to its comforts?
• Where is truth knocking, but we hesitate to open the door?

The tension is purposeful and designed to wake us up, not wear us down.

Just three days after this eclipse, another historic doorway opens: Saturn conjunct Neptune at 0° Aries. I can only describe this as an initiation point! Whatever the eclipse awakens, this conjunction begins to restructure it.
